Bumerang Wochenende in Hürtgenwald 2025

Together with the sports club ‘Alemannia Straß’, I am organising a boomerang weekend here on 21/22 June 2025 (20th set-up and possible arrival).
The whole thing is to be an all-round event on the subject of boomerang, with the aim of bringing our hobby closer to interested people and letting them share in our enthusiasm. Similar to the 2018 event in Jülich in Brückenkopfpark. The programme and the surroundings should also be similar to then, i.e. information, exhibition, lecture, exhibition throwing, throwing for spectators and – if enough people take part – a small exhibition tournament. Night throwing, a campfire and whiskey in the bullseye should also be possible
It will take place in the ‘Alemannia Straß’ clubhouse, where there will be catering, toilets and sleeping facilities as well as small gimmicks such as a loudspeaker system for the pitch or, for example, a projector and screen in the clubhouse.
The whole thing doesn’t have a name yet, but I’ll be sure to provide one in the course of the week (suggestions are very welcome ), as well as a detailed invitation to register.
It would be great if some people would agree to help me and take part, and throwers from abroad are also very welcome. I think we will certainly have a lot of fun. There’s no entry fee, we’ll just have to chip in for breakfast.
